Challenging cultural food deserts and Western nutritional supremacy with access to culturally appropriate, culturally relevant and healthy food and nutrition support.

Founded in 2021 as Ital Idana, we set up to provide culturally appropriate food and nutritional education for the Black community in Nottingham. Over the past few years we have created resources and distributed fresh food within our community, this has all been self-funded.
Now incorporated as Nottingham Nourishment Network CIC, we will be continuing Ital Idana Community Food as one of our projects joining Ital Abundance Community Garden and Ital Iwe Mobile Library.
We want to keep growing and building with the needs and input of our Nottingham community. Come join us for an event and get in touch to volunteer and collaborate with us!
